General questions
What is Kognisia?
Kognisia is an online learning platform (LMS) delivered as SaaS and offered by licence. It can be used with your own courses, with our catalogue of ready-to-use training, or with both, and can be deployed under your brand as an option.
Do I have to use the Kognisia training catalogue?
No. You can use the platform on its own with your own courses, add courses from the catalogue, or combine the two. The catalogue is available as a full programme, as skill blocks or as individual modules.
Is white label mandatory?
No, it is an option. Without it, the platform appears in Kognisia colours. With it, it takes on your name, your logo and your colours.
What does “white label” mean for an LMS?
Your learners see your name, your logo and your colours, not the vendor's. The technology is Kognisia's, the image is yours.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Kognisia is an online service (SaaS): the platform is hosted and maintained, and you access it from a browser.
How does the licence work?
You take out an annual licence based on your number of active learners. The training catalogue and white label are available as options. The details are set out on the Pricing page.
Where is learner data hosted?

Is Kognisia Qualiopi-compatible?
Yes. Kognisia is designed to help training organisations meet the indicators of the national quality framework, by making learner tracking visible and traceable. Qualiopi certification is awarded to the training organisation, not to the software: it remains that of your organisation. Details are on the Qualiopi page.
